Acceptance of Terms
ZoboLedger ("we", "us", or "our") provides a WhatsApp-native bookkeeping service for Nigerian SMEs. By accessing or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service. We reserve the right to update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Use of the Service
You agree to use ZoboLedger only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must:
- Provide accurate information when registering and using the service
- Use the service only for your own business bookkeeping
- Not attempt to circumvent security, abuse the API, or resell the service without permission
- Comply with applicable Nigerian laws, including tax and data protection (NDPR)
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service.
Subscriptions and Payments
Paid plans are billed according to the pricing displayed at the time of subscription. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
Intellectual Property and Your Data
ZoboLedger's name, logo, and service are our intellectual property. You retain ownership of all data you submit (transactions, receipts, business information). By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display your data solely to provide and improve the service, in line with our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
ZoboLedger is a bookkeeping and reporting tool. We do not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. You are responsible for ensuring your records and filings comply with Nigerian law and for consulting qualified professionals where needed. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that reports will satisfy every auditor or authority; you remain responsible for your own compliance.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZoboLedger and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or data) arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via WhatsApp or email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised.
